Top 3 Summer Party Ideas for Families

Warmer weather is finally kind of almost here in Milwaukee (hey that long weekend was pretty spectacular) which means it's time for outdoor events and parties! If you're like us, you have lots of events to celebrate such as birthdays, graduations, anniversaries and maybe even a wedding or two this summer.

Last summer Working Moms of Milwaukee posted our 5 Tips for a Low Stress Kid's Birthday Party and this summer we're kicking it up a notch with our Top 3 Summer Party Ideas for Families!

We hope that our quick list saves you some time and inspires you to start planning now before the season is well underway. We all know how quickly Wisconsin summers fly by. Rest assured that these Top 3 Summer Party Ideas have been tried and tested by fellow Working Moms of Milwaukee. Enjoy!

  1. Our first recommendation is Lynden Sculpture Garden on Milwaukee's north side. This is truly a unique space that brings together nature and art, making it the perfect location for kids birthday parties and other events. Packages can include a tour, hands-on studio project and free time in the gardens.
  2. Our next recommendation is having your very own Pop Up Party with Style Up Group's Event Trailer! Milwaukee certainly has its fair share of amazing event venues, beer gardens, and parks, but what if your family is interested in the party coming straight to you? That's where Style Up comes in. They have packages geared towards grown ups, such as the Mobile Bar with Games, but also Kids' Pop Ups complete with a party host, bubble maker, melamine serving platters, custom signage and everything you'd need to throw a great event. Check them out!
  3. Our final recommendation is the always loved Pool Party at Hoyt Park in Wauwatosa! Grown ups and kids love this place. Hoyt Pool offers different packages from splash packages, to shaded areas poolside and indoor rooms as well. Bonus points for The Landing Beer Garden right next door, often times with live music (remember, grown ups love it too! :)! Learn more on their website.

Hopefully our 3 tried and tested recommendations help with your outdoor summer event planning needs! Cheers to warmer weather and longer summer days ahead!
