Mayor Tom Barrett Declares March 12, 2021 Working Moms Day in the City of Milwaukee

The City of Milwaukee proudly joins the Working Moms of Milwaukee and community members in celebrating Working Moms Day on Friday, March 12, 2021; and,

WHEREAS, Working Moms Day is sponsored by the Working Moms of Milwaukee, a local community-driven organization that connects over 4,000 women for support, professional networking and friendship making; and,

WHEREAS, Working Moms Day celebrates all of the mothers on the “Mom Force” who dedicate their time and efforts to supporting the Milwaukee community; and,

WHEREAS, Working Moms Day encourages citizens to recognize working moms and honor their dedication to their jobs, families and communities; and,

WHEREAS, The City of Milwaukee commends the Working Moms of Milwaukee for their dedicated service and leadership, recognizes their outstanding contributions to the community and wishes them many more years of success;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, TOM BARRETT, Mayor of the City of Milwaukee, do hereby proclaim Friday, March 12, 2021, to be WORKING MOMS DAY throughout the City of Milwaukee.
